Chrissy sees dead people. Lots and lots of dead people. It's a bizarre reality and a lonely one. Most people have no clue what she has to cope with.

Emma is an inventor of devices to scientifically study psychic phenomena. She brings a healthy skepticism that balances her friends' enthusiasm to the pursuit of phantoms.
You see the four teens form the Ghost Gang. They have a YouTube channel. Ghost Girl episodes find them exploring haunted locations. Now they're taking a road trip to California to check into the Hearst Hotel, infamous for a plethora of tragic deaths that occurred on its premises. It's considered one of the most haunted hotels around, home to malevolent entities as well as the sketchy living.
They're minors crossing state lines without parental knowledge or consent.
They're driving an expensive car into a crime plagued neighborhood.
Probably a lot of their methods could get them in trouble with the police.
And it's Halloween: a night when the drugged and drunk living will be partying it up and the no longer living will be out and about.
What could possibly go wrong?
Fans of R. L. Stine will find Victoria Fulton and Faith McClaren's Horror Hotel to be a thrilling, chilling must read.
On a purrrsonal note, it's been a good week. It's been sunny and unseasonably warm. I stayed at school late on Tuesday to make a journal from recycled materials. I'm making good progress on my student initiatives. School and work are going fine. It's great now to be home to start what should be a productive weekend. (Jules)
